The International Foundation Year prepares overseas students for a UK undergraduate degree at Wrexham University. Alongside English and integrated academic skills, you follow a subject pathway — business, computing, engineering, art and design, or media and creative technology — and successful completion guarantees entry to a linked bachelor's programme.
Two routes are available: a standard 31-week programme and a 24-week fast track for stronger English.
Students who progress onto their undergraduate degree at Wrexham University are eligible for a scholarship bursary of up to £2,000 per year for the whole of their degree.
Formative in-class exercises plus final online tests in reading, writing, speaking and listening for the English modules; presentations, reports, in-class tests and coursework across the pathway modules.
